A territory of 117 km² where 2 rivers run along:

Moreover the traditional activities
as for the hunting and the fishing, the visitors can also practice
tourist and recreational activities. You can practice canoeing
activities on the numerous water plans and the 2 river basins
of the Tagi and Aux Sables rivers. The uncountable logging roads
allow you to stroll by car, 4x4, quad (ATV) or simply hiking.
The magnificent landscapes and the abundant and diversify fauna
offer interesting opportunities to photography and fauna enthusiasts.
During summertime, the customers can also pick small wild fruits
(rasberries and blueberries) and also wild mushrooms.

Activities:
During the summer, there are a lot of outdoor activities you
can practice on the water:
- swimming without supervision
- canoe & kayak
- pedalo
- etc.
In the woods:
- hiking and/or mountain biking and/or quad (ATV)
– wildlife watching
– nature interpretation
From July to October,
the territory is criss-crossed by over 220 km of logging roads.
You’ll love to drive a quad (ATV) or do some mountain
biking in the different logging roads that will guide you to
various attractive sites. The mountain landscape is breath taking!
There are so many different activities offered by the variety
of landscapes (mountains, forest, lakes) at Clauparo’s
that can accommodate all the different tastes of the members
of you family.
A real relaxation in the nature! Borrow our trails to hike or
to mountain bike and share your observations with us, you’ll
maybe see moose, grouses, hares or wolfs!

IMAGINE…
Leave your cabin, with a canoe or a kayak, cross north-east
the Lake Archer, then follow the Tagi river which follows its
path flowing into the Lake Icelui (de la Chute) and flows into
the Lake Cloclo, runs about 1 km of rapids, goes under the main
road to flow into the Lake Monelle, runs into the Lake Leonce
and then continue its run north the outfitter. After about 5
km, you’ll be in the large Lake Hitomamo, turn left, follow
the shore until the entrance of the Aux Sales river that you’ll
go against until you arrive at the bridge (km 89) north-west
of the outfitter where we can pick you up. Note: We’ll
give you a wireless phone to reach us.
Black Bear Observation
During the summer, you can see and take pictures of black bear
during your hiking.
FALL
Nowadays, trapping is an activity we still practice. At Clauparo’s,
you can experience the trapper adventures following him into
the woods. He’ll explain you the different techniques
used. You’ll be able to follow his trapping path helping
you understand the animals in their habitats.

Summer deals include accommodations in cabins, no hunting nor
fishing, no boat. We put pedalos and canoes at your disposal.

OUTDOOR-WINTER
IN WINTER
SLIDING, SNOWMOBILING, SKATING, ICE FISHING, SNOWSHOEING,
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

With the biting cold, the sparkling snow and the dazzling sun,
WINTER IN QUEBEC, we have to take advantage of it! There are
plenty of outdoor activities at Clauparo’s: ice fishing,
snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hare hunting
and trapping.
Unfortunately, in winter time, the territory is only accessible
until Sablon Camp (km 97 in the centre of the outfitter) and
from there, by snowmobile or snowshoes only and this requires
a very particular logistic.
For the most reckless, it is also possible to go with your snowmobile
on trails outside the regular ones, passing near or on icy lakes
discovering immense virgin and wild territories.
